It reminds me of an African Grey Parrot my Uncle and Aunt owned cccc). One Sunday morning they were driving through the streets of the then ‘small town’ they lived in, Leslie. ‘Nanakwa’, the parrot, was in his cage on the back seat and not visible. My uncle stopped at an intersection to allow an elderly lady, smartly dressed up for church, cross the road in front of the car. It was at this point that Nanakwa gave a Wolf Whistle and said very clearly in Afrikaans “Wat ‘n Mooi Nooi”(What a beautiful girl.) Needless to say,the lady gave my uncle a disgusted look as he blushed red!
