You make me miss the Old Country. It’s strange, I have a love/hate relationship with Britain which is essentially, a pity. I have fantastic memories of touring around Britain with different productions, and like you, I was always amazed how different each place was, in appearance and of course, how incredibly different and equally amazing – the people were, in these different places. However, I had such a hard time in London. It was only about survival and not about enjoyment and great experiences. Enjoy the theatre and the architecture and the green countryside but as you also point out – its the people that make a place. You will be surrounded by love. Nothing better. Bon voyage!
