Oh Gaynor, that was funny – I also hate the gym but since I joined Curves a few years ago, I don’t really mind it – their motto “No mirrors, No make-up, No men” – just love it 🙂

Good on you Gaynor! Admire you and all the people who go because they genuinely care about their health. It had the exact opposite effect on me. I hated it with a passion. Got totally irritated by the fashion conscious ‘poppies’ wrapped in lycra, sitting on machines (which others wanted to use) chatting to their mates while sucking on water bottles when not a drop of sweat was to be seen! Walking is better for my mental health!!
