Hi Gaynor,

I remember seeing a bit of the quilt... Jil told me what she was doing and that it was for you. I so admired her creativity. Then a while later a very dear friend's young daughter Tammy was diagnosed with cancer. Tammy was 8. Jill had inspired me. When Tammy's hair fell out I made her a white top with a hood and I gave her kokis so that she could design her own pattern, write her own words on it. Her father told me she loved the top also because it hid her head!!!!!But Jil's quilt for you inspired me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tammy passed when she was 10.

So the story of your quilt touched a few lives. Do you have a picture of it Gaynor. How lovely to have a present in each pocket. And Jil used to do things with such ease...everything came to her so effortlessly.

We were at Joan Brickhill and Louis Burke'sdrama school. We were also in Oklahoma...the show that took Joan and Louis to Johannesburg.

Years later I used to go to Jil's dance classes at University because she also taught Martha Graeme...and I LOVED LOVED the dance.

Take care,
Love Ingride
